So one of my best friends started me thinking about Kyo's origins, when she made up a story for her character, Azumi's origins. Azumi started out as a falling star that took form, before everything evolved out of the oceans. Now if you don't believe in evolution, that's fine. Just edit out this part to suit your beliefs. Whatevs.
SO. When I took an Astronomy class, the teacher taught me that the main (or possibly just one) theory of the moon's origin was that some sort of jerk celestial body decided that it wanted to be in the exact same place as the Earth at that exact moment, and slammed into it. Like a tool, the celestial body stuck around (but in little pieces of course) and after a while, the dust now orbiting the earth solidified into what we know as the moon. I think I'll ignore the countless years that the moon's face was pummeled with meteors, because then Kyo would have pox marks all over his face... Anyways, as Azumi was a falling star that wanted to come to earth, Kyo was a huge jerk that wanted to smash earth. But maybe he was misunderstood and just wanted some planetary lovin'.
But as the moon solidified, Kyo gained more and more consciousness, until finally everything was done. Then after a short time, Azumi showed up and he found a buddy. I don't know if it's a complete idea yet, but my friend and I were thinking about having the two of them and I have to go I'll finish later bye

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
